Onslow - Faces of Travel - Danny Wood - Riverview Cafe
What brought you to Onslow County?

My mother married a Marine and I’ve stayed ever since.

What fuels your passion for Riverview Café?

It’s family owned by the Terwilliger family since 1946. I’ve managed it for the past 17 years and every year try to make it better than the previous year.

What is your favorite part about having Riverview Café?

Everybody knows me most of the time. I use to be good with names but now mainly just faces. I try to talk to everyone when I have time. If I go to another restaurant they see me and they come and talk to me. I would like for anyone that has not tried the Riverview Café to give it a try. I always tell them they will find something they like!
