United Services Organization (USO)


The USO of Jacksonville has a large auditorium, a snack back, a cyber cafe and three meeting rooms that can support 40 people.  It also has 4 regulation sized pool tables, two ping pong tables, VCR/DVDs with over a thousand tapes in the library, XBox and Playstations with numerous games. There is also a kid’s playroom.

The center is open:
Monday-Wednesday: 1030-2100,
Thursday: 1030-1700,
Friday: 1030-2200 and
Saturday & Sunday:1000-2200.

The USO of Jacksonville, North Carolina is the oldest USO in America, having been established on April 23, 1942 and has been in operation every day since. Still faithfully supporting military service members and their families each year.
