Oakhurst Nature Park

This 253-acre passive nature park was purchased in February 2004 as a joint project with the North Carolina Coastal Land Trust.  Facilities include trails, a parking lot, and a paddling access, with the remaining property being preserved for future generations

  • 1,500 ft. short Nature Trail attached to parking lot and canoe/kayak launch area.
  • 3,420 ft. long Nature Trail on Willbarry Street

Located at the end of Riverbend Road. Turn on Ridge Road, off Highway 258 beside Onslow Memorial Park Cemetery and follow the arrow signs to the park.
