In his honor\, a portion of race proceeds supports Semper Fi & America’s Fund\, which provides assistance to wounded\, ill\, and injured service members and their families. \nAdd this bucket-list race to your calendar and run with purpose as you honor heroes\, support a worthy cause\, and take on the challenge of the Sledgehammer Beach Run. \nCourse Information \nHalf marathon\, 10k & 5k course are all on the beach \n**Half marathon cut off time is 4 hours. Anyone left on the course after the fourth hour will be picked up by a staff member and will be disqualified for awards.

SUMMARY:Frogman 3D Bowhunters Challenge & 5k Trail
DESCRIPTION:Trail Run- A wooded trail run through the property known as the “400-acres.” The trail is predominantly flat and should be fun for all. This is a course created especially for Frogman.  Medals awarded to the top-overall male and female\, top-overall male and female masters\, and first place in each age division. Everyone crossing the finish line receives a finisher medal. Note: our insurance doesn’t allow dogs at our running events unless they’re a service dog. \nBowhunters Challenge- The Frogman Bowhunter Challenge is not your average 3D shoot it’s a full-day archery adventure built to challenge and inspire bowhunters of every skill level. Modeled after events like Total Archery Challenge\, this course features rugged terrain\, lifelike 3D targets\, and shot opportunities that mimic real-world hunting scenarios from odd angles and long distances to tight gaps and tricky setups. \n  \nFrogman was created by The Campbell Family in 2012 to honor the wish of their beloved SOC (SEAL) Christopher Campbell. Chris lost his life during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter\, call sign Extortion 17\, in which he and 30 others Americans were riding\, was shot down on August 6\, 2011.  The event honors his final wish to support combat wounded veterans\, his love for hunting\, especially bow hunting\, and the outdoors.

DESCRIPTION:One of the most popular year-round events is our fun-filled hayrides. During these rides\, both kids and adults can enjoy a relaxing ride on the farm. Many of the rides seem to beak out in a “singing jubilee” that can be heard all over Onslow County! \nDuring the month of October\, the hayride takes a stop at our Pumpkin Patch. You can walk through the fields and select the perfect pumpkin to bring home. Hayrides run Tuesday & Wednesday from 1:00-5:00\, Thursday & Friday from 1:00-8:00\, and Saturday from 10:00-8:00. The cost is $2.00 per person for ages 3 and older. Pumpkins are weighed and run $0.79 per pound with a $4.00 minimum.

DESCRIPTION:GHOULS\, GOBLINS AND ZOMBIES OH MY! Come join the Fishstrong Foundation for their annual FRIGHT NIGHTS HAUNTED HAYRIDE AND WALKING TRAIL. Every Friday and Saturday Sept 26-Nov 1 with a special event on Halloween. Ticket sales start at 6pm and end at 10pm. As always proceeds from the events will go to help North Carolina families that are experiencing life altering illness. The show itself will begin right around 7:00 pm (dark) and we will not close until all patrons with tickets have gone through. Tickets for the Hayride are $12 per person and ages 5 and under ride free at parental discretion. Tickets for the walking trail are $9 per person again children are allowed at parental discretion Combo tickets are available at the time of original purchase and the cost is $18 for both attractions.
