The Jacksonville/Onslow community is grateful for the heroes that live among us who serve our country. They enrich our lives by their presence and enhance the fabric of our community, inspiring a unique sense of pride and heartfelt patriotism. Like only a military community can, we come together in times of need to lend a helping hand to our military families. It’s written in our history and is part of our heritage. When Jacksonville received the designation as an All-America City, we also became affectionately known as “a caring community.”
We are honored to have many retired veterans return to our area to live at the coast of North Carolina as well as to enjoy the sense of belonging and connection they remember while serving. Thank you for considering Jacksonville/Onslow for your military reunion. We welcome you!
