Freedom Festival at Onslow Pines Park

Monday, July 4th

Onslow County Parks and Recreation will celebrate its 38th annual Freedom Festival on July 4th, 2022 from 3 pm. to 9 pm. Come out for an evening of live music and fireworks along with some great food from some of the best local food truck vendors. Abrams Amusements will be offering free amusements and don’t forget to check out some of the small shop vendors. This will be a night to remember!

Swansboro’s 4th of July Celebration

Monday, July 4th

The Town of Swansboro is happy to announce it will host activities to celebrate the Fourth of July in Downtown Swansboro! Enjoy live music with the TAMS from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Harry C. Pugliese “Pug” Pavilion.  There will be a couple of food snack vendors and we encourage patrons to visit the downtown restaurants. Street closures will begin at 3 pm

4th of July Celebration at Camp Lejeune

Monday, July 4th

Celebrate America’s 246TH Birthday with an evening of music, food, and the most spectacular fireworks display in the area. This year’s entertainment features Camp Lejeune’s very own 2nd Marine Division Band and headlining this year’s entertainment is the Eli Young Band. This event is free and open to DoD Cardholders and their guests only. In case of inclement weather, this event will not be rescheduled.

Freedom Fest at Lee Baysden Pond with Juniper Creek Outfitters

Saturday, July 2nd

Juniper Creek Outfitters hosts Freedom Fest on Lee Baysden Pond from 5 pm to 9:30 pm. All are welcome out for camping, fishing, music, games, food trucks, fireworks, and family fun! See the Facebook Event Page for all the details and how to contact them to get involved.

We will be playing Panfish Poker Run again! A fun game of fishing and cards similar to motorcycle runs but on the water! Prize for Biggest Bass open to Bank fishers and boat/Kayak entries.

Ocean City Jazz Festival

Saturday, July 2nd & Sunday, July 3rd

The Ocean City Jazz Festival returns to North Topsail Beach for two days of jazz!  The Ocean City Jazz Festival (OCJF) is North Topsail Beach’s premier cultural event organized by the Ocean City Beach Citizens Council, a 501 c3, non-profit corporation. The Music Fest, which takes place the weekend of the July 4th holiday, features local and nationally, recognized musicians.

The Ocean City Jazz Festival is committed to presenting the gold standard of jazz by producing a showcase event that raises an appreciation of the genre of jazz, fosters economic growth, unites artists and attendees, and inspires a new generation culturally through the history of the Ocean City Beach Community.
