Broken Native American pottery and handwritten letters composed during the frightening days of the Revolutionary War all help tell the story of Onslow’s varied history. Visit the Onslow County Museum in Richlands to see a dugout canoe used by natives more than 700 years ago and exhibits that show how the area changed when Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base was built.
