Only In Onslow

Onslow County Museum

The Onslow County Museum helps tell the historical story behind the county and its people. With exhibits on natural history all the way up to present day, you’ll be sure to learn something new about Onslow’s background. Check out its education exhibits to learn about the time before integrated schools for African-American students. Learn the story behind the largest Marine Corps base on the east coast with exhibits on the military, and how the land in Onslow fit the bill for the Navy’s amphibious fighters. Located in Richlands near the library and town hall, the museum is a neat educational experience for residents and visitors alike.

The museum has a changing gallery exhibit. See the current exhibit on display here.
