Swansboro Area Heritage Center

It’s been a long time coming, but Swansboro history now has a home of its own; the Swansboro Area Heritage Center. Located in the east side of the old Emmerton School on Church Street in downtown Swansboro, the center is maintained by the Swansboro Historical Association. Exhibits include Colonial Swansboro, Maritime Artifacts, Tobacco and Cotton Displays, and much more! A research room for local historians and genealogists is also available. Open Friday – Sunday.
