We’ve got some spooktacular fun things to do this fall in Onslow County, for all ages! From pumpkin carving, hayrides, haunted corn mazes, costume contests, car races, and more! We look forward to seeing you this October, #OnlyinOnslow! 👻🎃

Fishstrong Fright Nights

Its time for our annual Fishstrong Fright Nights Haunted Hayride and Walking Trail. As every year, we have changed things up a bit with new scares and frightful attractions that you will not want to miss! There will be food vendors, carnival games, and a pumpkin patch. As always proceeds from the events will go to help North Carolina families that are experiencing life altering illness. The ticket booth opens at 6 pm and closes at 10:30 pm The show itself will begin right around 7:00 pm (dark) and we will not close until all patrons with tickets have gone through. Tickets for the Hayride are $12 per person and ages 5 and under ride for free at parental discretion. There will also be a “fast past” offered for $20 (hayride only). Tickets for the walking trail are $9 per person again children are allowed at parental discretion. Combo tickets are available at the time of original purchase and the cost is $18 for both attractions.

Haunted Zombie Shoot at Jacksonville Paintball

Mike’s Farm Pumpkin Patch Hayrides

One of the most popular year-round events is our fun-filled hayrides. During these rides, both kids and adults can enjoy a relaxing ride on the farm. Many of the rides seem to beak out in a “singing jubilee” that can be heard all over Onslow County!

During the month of October, the hayride takes a stop at our Pumpkin Patch. You can walk through the fields and select the perfect pumpkin to bring home. Hayrides run Tuesday & Wednesday from 1:00-5:00, Thursday & Friday from 1:00-8:00, and Saturday from 10:00-8:00. The cost is $3.00 per person for ages 3 and older. Pumpkins are weighed and run $0.79 per pound with a $4.00 minimum.

Plus, come join us for our fun fall Saturdays on the farm during the month of October. Every Saturday throughout the month (weather permitting) we will have hayrides around the farm, pumpkin picking, live music, and more! Mike’s Farm Haunted Hayride

It’s once again time for the Haunted Hayride at Mike’s Farm presented by Fountaintown and Back Swamp Fire Department’s! This years event will take place over three scary nights in October with all proceeds going to both Fire Departments.

Monster Bash @ Onslow Pines Park

Monster Bash provides a safe and fun way for families to enjoy Halloween! There will be Halloween-themed games and activities for children, a costume contest for children, adults, and trunk or treating for children. There will also be games, food vendors, and a kid zone.

Not So Spooky Halloween Party @ Zing Zumm Museum

Our Kid-Friendly Halloween Party is creeping up, and it’s going to be a bewitching evening filled with dancing, trick-or-treating, and ghoulishly creative crafts!

Trunk or Treat and Costume Party @ Juniper Creek Outfitters

Annual Activities include Trick or Treating at the Cabins/RVs on Main side, Potluck dinner and hot dog roast, games, music, and more. We would love to have community members bring out their cars and do trunk or treat.
