Walton’s Distillery

Walton’s is a locally owned craft distillery producing small batches of corn whiskey, moonshine and bourbon. Come explore their facility and learn how this family tradition has continued to thrive throughout the years. Enjoy free tours and tastings offered Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (although please call ahead to confirm).

Distinct flavors of moonshine such as Junior Walton’s Pine Shine Colada, Mag Walton’s Peach and Salted Carmel Shine will leave you craving more. Ms. Kitty’s Apple Pie Shine is not your “gramma’s” apple pie but is ever so smooth and tasty. A tasting at Walton’s wouldn’t be complete without a sample of Juniors’ authentic Carolina Moonshine and Premium Select…straight out of the still, no flavor added and tops off at 100 and 101 proof. Visit their vintage gift shop where you’ll find treasurers unique to Walton’s Distillery and spirits available for purchase in limited quantities. In addition, Walton’s hosts multiple events throughout the year which feature live music (typically bluegrass) free lunch and tons of fun!  Walton’s is constantly expanding their spirit line, a must see and do experience in Eastern NC, you won’t be disappointed!
