Richlands

Swansboro

Visit historic Downtown Swansboro and enjoy a quaint coastal town with over forty unique shops and restaurants. Located right on the waterfront, it’s a beautiful way to spend several hours. Take a historic walking tour with 29 different sites.  Enjoy waterfront dining while taking in the amazing views of kayakers and paddle-boarders making their way through the Intercoastal Waterway.  Hop aboard the Lady Swan Boat Tours and enjoy a scenic history tour by water, or head over to Hammocks Beach State Park and enjoy a marsh cruise to Bear Island for a day of shelling on the beach.

Sneads Ferry

“Discover Onslow” at the Environmental Education Center with information filled exhibits that display the ecology, geography, flora, and fauna of Onslow County.  For lunch, there are numerous waterfront restaurants to choose from.  Find out why Sneads Ferry is known as the "Shrimp Capital of the East Coast."  For those who love fishing, enjoy a day out on the water with Reel Cranky Fishing Charters.

North Topsail Beach

Topsail's Missiles & More Museum is a must see for military history buffs. Constructed in 1946, it was used by the government to assemble missiles for a secret operation being conducted on Topsail Island. Enjoy a few hours at North Topsail Beach, voted as one of North Carolina's most beautiful beaches, where visitors prefer the quieter and more tranquil vibe along with free parking.  Have dinner at Ocean's Edge Restaurant or at Splash by the Sea, located inside the Villa Capriani.
